ABOUT US

Lee Valley Rowing Club is based at the National Rowing and Community Resource Centre in Farran Wood, Co. Cork.

Lee Valley was established in 1999 as the home based club in the centre.

It provides rowing for the community and support for the National Rowing Centre, following the decision by the Irish Amateur Rowing Union (now Rowing Ireland) to build the Centre on Inniscarra Lake.

Lee Valley provides rowing for both the competitive and leisure rower for the greater Mid-Cork area.

Club crews have had numerous wins at Irish and overseas regattas including a world champion at masters level in 2019. We have won 8 Irish Championships. 12  club members have rowed for Ireland including 3 junior members in the last four years and three of our current coaches, have rowed for Irish teams in the past.
